I need to shut off the water to complete a plumbing repair. How do I do that?
You cannot turn off the water to your individual unit. The water shut off is for the entire building. As such, you must give notice to the other residents in the building prior to shutting off the water. Except in cases of emergency, water shut off notices must be given at least 24 hours in advance. Please contact the property management company to schedule your water shut off. We will also provide you with a notice to post on the building to notify the other residents. As a friendly reminder, all plumbing work (no matter how small) should be completed by a licensed plumbing contractor.
