What is an assessment and what does it cover?
The assessment or "dues" is the monthly amount due from each homeowner to cover the operating expenses of the common areas and to provide for reserve funds for replacement of common facilities. Specifically, the monthly assessment covers management fees, common area maintenance, lighting, pool, landscape, tennis court, tot lot, gym, common area plumbing, janitorial, fire and safety, trash and sewer, etc.
What happens if I don't pay my assessment?
The HOA relies upon the prompt payment of monthly assessments to pay for its operating expenses and common area maintenance. Late payments will result in a late charge being added to your account. Pursuant to the CC&Rs, the HOA may also impose interest fees and proceed with a lien or foreclosure of your property for nonpayment of assessments.
Can I pay over the phone?
Mills Management Services, Inc. does not currently take payments over the phone.
When is my payment due?
Payments are due on the 1st of the month and are considered late if they are not received by the 15th of the month.  Late payments will incur a 10% late charge.
